About the Role

The Global Education Accrediting Commission (GEAC) is seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our team as Accreditation Representatives in North Carolina. This role is pivotal in expanding our reach to public, private, and charter schools across the state. As an Accreditation Representative, you will be responsible for engaging with schools to promote GEAC's accreditation services, providing guidance throughout the accreditation process, and fostering strong relationships with educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outreach and Engagement: Reach out to schools whose overall strategies and visions align with those of the GEAC.

  • Inquiry Response: Respond promptly to accreditation inquiries from schools in the state.

  • Accreditation Guidance: Assist in guiding schools through the accreditation process and assign an accreditation team from the GEAC for the on-site review.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with members of the GEAC’s global team on joint projects and create fruitful cross-school connections.

  • Event Organization: Organize state-level events and gatherings for member and accredited schools.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a school setting.

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a field related to education. Further degrees (MEd, EdD, etc.) are highly desirable.

  • Accreditation Experience: Experience serving on visiting teams for other accrediting agencies is a positive, but not required.
