Digital Learning Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• E-Learning Development: Design and develop engaging and interactive e-learning courses and modules using a variety of digital tools and platforms.

• Technology Integration: Identify and integrate appropriate digital technologies to support and enhance educational programs and accreditation processes.

• Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to educators and staff on the use of digital learning tools and platforms.

• Content Management: Manage and maintain digital content, ensuring it is up-to-date, accessible, and aligned with educational standards and objectives.

• Research and Innovation: Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in digital learning and technology integration, and apply this knowledge to continually improve GEAC's offerings.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the GEAC team, educators, and external partners to develop and implement digital learning initiatives that meet the needs of diverse learners.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and effectiveness of digital learning solutions through regular evaluation and feedback mechanisms.

Job Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is highly desirable.

• Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or a similar role within an educational setting.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas), and other digital learning technologies.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and feedback to continuously improve digital learning solutions and strategies.

• Creative Thinking: Innovative mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences.
